The situation we are facing nowadays is quite tiring but as we all knew Social Distancing is the best solution to avoid the Corona virus disease (Covid-19). Of course we can’t fight it but we can prevent as it is an old saying “Prevention is better than cure” You need to stay healthy and functioning at an optimum. Maybe you’re on the healthcare frontline during a pandemic. Or maybe you’re working from home while simultaneously homeschooling kids. The fact is that you must have a strong immune system and keep yourself healthy.
So let’s start with the basics: Wash your hands for 20 seconds, don’t touch your face and take social distancing seriously. If you only do these things, you’ll be well on your way to staying healthy.
1. Focus on food:
Focus on food which is helpful for improving your immune system. I’m not going in detail about what to eat but you can take Food having Prebiotics, Antioxidants and Vitamin C-rich foods as it boosts your immune system
2. Lifestyle improvements:
Protect yourself from stress, must get at least 8 hours of sleep daily, in order for good functionality and productivity during the day. Do Exercise and Stay Positive, positive mindset is vital for health and well-being. Research shows that positive thoughts reduce stress and inflammation and increase resilience to infection — while negative emotions can make you more liable to the common cold and flu.
The COVID-19 pandemic is getting scary, so it’s easy to spiral down in negative thoughts. The story we tell ourselves is critical. Start your day with a positive thought such as, ‘I am well. I have to Stay Safe for the Sake of my family ’
So now I’m telling the reality, many of us are sitting in our homes surrounded by our snacks, and many of them aren’t very healthy. Sugar looms large in the lockdown. To help manage the consequences of that sugar, there’s a vital habit we must always adopt if we’re not already doing it: drink plenty of water. Drinking more water can be an important safeguard against some of its effects, not the least of which is the increase of toxic waste products in our bodies. So keep a bottle full of cold, clean water with you as you move about your home and sip it instead of sugary drinks that contribute to the problem. Because water keeps you hydrated and your brain will appreciate that as well.
