Reverse Osmosis Systems


Reverse Osmosis Systems are undoubtedly one of the best water purification systems for home use. How does a reverse osmosis system work?


The water passes through the various filters until it reaches the auxiliary valve cleaned (i.e. osmoses). In most systems, filtration occurs in 5 stages. In the first three stages, the water goes through the pre-filter. In the fourth stage, it passes through the membrane. Then it comes in a small watertight tank of varying capacity depending on the model.

When you open the water tap on the machine, the water first goes through the fifth stage: the coconut charcoal post-filter.   Some manufacturers add a sixth stage. They may contain a filter that provides minerals such as calcium or magnesium. This demineralizes the osmosis water and adjusts the pH value.
